Watch Tech N9ne’s New Video, “PTSD (Warrior Built)”
As Tech N9ne prepares the release of his highly-anticipated new album, ‘Dominion’, he partners with Monster Energy Drink and Warrior Built foundation (founded by U.S. Marine veteran Nick Hamm) for the release of his new inspired song and video titled, “PTSD (Warrior Built)”.
Helping raise awareness about the sacrifices and hardships that the military troops endure both during and after service. Tech is shown throughout the video holding a therapy session with a freshly home soldier dealing with demons brought on from Post Tramatic Stress. It’s a known fact that troops as well as veterans face various forms of post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and other obstacles in their lives.
The video also features fellow Strange Music Group recording artist, Krizz Kaliko and contest winning recoring artist Jay Trilogy.
Tech N9ne speaks on the inspiration behind the track, saying the following:
“A few years go we were blessed to be able to go on a USO tour to Bahrain and Kuwait. When I visited the camps and saw a lot of wounded soldiers, injured and missing limbs, it just touched me. These people are fighting for us to be able to do what we do here, and they couldn’t even go home to their families for Christmas. When I came back I cut off all my hair like the troops, we started wearing the boots they gave us in our stage show, and then we did a song called ‘The Noose’ with Mayday dedicated to the troops. I always felt like all these young men and women that are fighting for us, if we can give them some light, we need to.”
