Already released a much-talked about album, ‘Drogas Light’ earlier this year, Atlantic’s Lupe Fiasco unveils the first track off his upcoming Drogas sequel, ‘Drogas Wave’, entitled “Kneelin’ on Needles”.
“Kneelin’ On Needles” is a tribute track of sort to the politically outspoken, NFL’s San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Many know that Kaepernick was a hot topic last season for refusing to pledge alligence during the games National Anthem. Kaepernick was brenched by the organization but continued to be a outspoken individual among the press. Lupe Fiasco praises Kap along with bashing President Trump, and enjoyment of listening to new material from Compton recording artist, Kendrick Lamar over the new track.
The cover art for the track solely features Kap’s football number.

Produced by Baltimore’s Tek.Lun, it’s Lupe’s best work in a very long time. It’s no secret the recording artist has been going through a lot of tumoil and frustration both creatively and ecomonically with his label and recordings for recent years.
