Future‘s new albums, ‘HNDRXX’ and self-titled have delivered a tremendous amount of success on the charts. Now the Atlanta hitmaker is not only taking over the charts but social media as well as a new popular social media challenge has been inspired based off his catchy new song, “Mask Off”.
Fans all over the world have began grabbing their instruments to recreate the flute sound at the intro of the track and shared them with followers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Along with Flute players recreating the production, dancers including Multi-platinum singer/songwriter/dancer Chris Brown are getting into the act as they ignite a dance craze behind the track as well shown below.

“Mask Off” is on Future’s current self-titled project via Epic/Freebandz/A1 and was produced by Metro Boomin, which also samples from “Prison Song,” a track on Tommy Butler‘s 1978 musical Selma, a retelling of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and times. Metro and Future have a lengthy history of hits already including joint mixtape projects.
“Mask Off” has also help propelle Future to the top of the Billboard Top 200 and made history as Future becomes the first artist to have two number-one albums a week apart.
Future is currently on the cover of Billboard magazine, on newsstands now.
