Kanye West Made “A Very Hard To Refuse” Offer By NBC For ‘American Idol’
Kanye West has been labeled a lot of things throughout his career, could Celebrity Judge be a new addition? If NBC has there way with it, yes. The network made an offer to the multi-platinum recording artist to be a judge for the relaunching of once popular star-search musical showcase known as, ‘American Idol’.
Fox, the network who originally created the musical showcase, ended the 15-year run of ‘American Idol’ a year ago appears to have sold the rights to their rival network for a fresh start. Along with the fresh start, NBC has reportedly made an undisclosed offer to Kanye to be a judge among a panel of overseers deciding who indeed will be the next “American Idol”.
NBC hasn’t revealed much about the relaunching of Idol or the proposed contract to Kanye West other than reportedly stating that the offer is, “Very Hard to Refuse”.
Many may remember that Kanye audition for American Idol on it’s finale season, where he performed his hit single, “Gold Digger”. Kanye would join an alum of celebrity judges including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicki Minaj.
In other Kanye news, there has been rumors for a surprise project coming this week. West has been working on multiple new albums and has been in collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, and Lil Yachty since the release of his last album, ‘Life of Pablo’.
