Rick Ross Just Announced His 10th Album, ‘Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill’
Over the weekend, Rick Ross released his now critically-acclaimed ninth album, ‘Rather You Than Me‘ via his new deal with Epic Records. While projected to move 95k in the first week, Rozay went back home and revealed that he is already working on his tenth album set to be a sequel to his Def Jam debut, ‘Port of Miami’.
During and interview with hometown radio correspondent Papa Keith of Miami, 103.5 The Beat. The 43-year-old recording artist surprised listeners with the announcement of his forthcoming tenth album, titled, ‘Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill’. The sequel is a decade later follow-up to his platinum debut album that delivered Ross’ debut hit single, “Hustlin”. Since 2006, Rick Ross has grown into one of today’s biggest and most influential recording artists of the generation. His ninth album only further reveals their is no sign of the MMG boss slowing down.
While his new album has received rave reviews, it would appear that Ross will fall short on the charts this week under Drake who released his new playlist/album, ‘More Life’ the following day as Ross and within 24 hours garnered 150-million plays on streaming services.
Rick Ross’s latest effort, ‘Rather You Than Me’ features guest appearances from Future, Young Thug, Jeezy, Meek Mill, Wale, Anthony Hamilton, Nas, Ty Dolla $ign, Gucci Mane, Dej Loaf, Scrilla, Raphael Saadiq, and Chris Rock. The album features hit singles, “I Think She Likes Me”, “She On My Dick”, and “Trap Trap Trap”.
