Mariah Carey Shares New Song, “I Don’t” Ft. YG with Video Snippet

A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Mariah Carey and YG were in the studio cooking up an unexpected collaboration. The birth of this collaboration between the legend and Compton recording artist comes in the new song titled, “I Don’t”.

“I Don’t” is a Jermaine Dupri production written by Bryan Michael Cox. The song is inspired by 90s R&B that comes in the wake of Mariah’s recent breakup to former-Billionaire finance, James Packer. The two got engaged over the summer sixteen and ended engagement with a nasty lawsuit filed by Mariah, claiming Packer used her popularity for public relevance.

A music video for “I Don’t” has also been shot. Filmed at an opulent mansion with lavish chandeliers and a grand staircase, the teaser shows a clearly obvious Tupac-imitated shirtless YG in a black blazer and shades. “I Don’t” will be on airwaves everywhere in a matter of days upon the release of the new song.

An official single cover artwork has been released on the new song, this is the first official release for Mariah under her new contract with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records.
