Big Sean Raises $100k For Flint Through His Foundation
With his new album only a week away, Big Sean takes a break from promotions for a great cause back home which leads to the Michigan-native help raising $100,000 in support of residents in Flint, Michigan.
In the clip above, Sean sits down with The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah to discuss the current status of Flint and his recent fund raising efforts that will help support the ongoing water crisis within the city. Through his Sean Anderson Foundation, the funds will ensure residents will have clean water to use and those afflicted with lead poisoning can seek proper care.
During the interview also, Big Sean revealed that the crisis hit home closer than many would believe as it affected his mother who recently suffered from lead poisioning during the current water problem.
