Gorillaz Release “Hallelujah Money,” First New Song In 6 Years [Music Video]

One of 2017’s most anticipated albums is the revival of the Gorillaz brand, which has been buzzing around for a few months now. Today though, is the moment we’ve all been waiting for: new music, and it comes in the form of a new single called “Hallelujah Money,” music video and all.

It features Benjamine Clementine, a Mercury Prize winning, English artist, poet, composer and a recording multi-instrumentalist musician from London, England.

The politically charged single comes “in these dark times” when “we all need someone to look up to.” The song is “a lightning bolt of truth in a black night.” No word on whether this is off the album or just something to hold us over, but regardless, watch the music video below. THEY’RE BACK!

You can relax now, the rumors were true, Gorillaz really are releasing a new album.
