Lil Uzi Vert Isn’t Signed To Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang After All
Looks to be a bit of confusion in the Uzi Gang as reports have began to surface that the Philadelphia indie sensation Lil Uzi Vert is not the newest signee to Wiz Khalifa‘s Taylor Gang Entertainment. Uzi’s handlers DJ Drama and Don Cannon have come forward to reveal that Lil Uzi Vert is only signed to their gang and not Wiz like previous proclaimed.
Over the holidays, it was announced during a christmas show presented by Lil Uzi Vert in his hometown where he brought out the “Black and Yellow” recording artist. During his set, Wiz surprised fans with the announcement that Lil Uzi Vert was the newest gangster in the Taylor Gang. After the show, Uzi Vert filled with social networks with Taylor Gang support; however, Drama and Cannon have took to twitter to refute those recent claims.
In the tweets, both Drama and Cannon reveal that Uzi has only one contract and it’s with their Generation Now imprint. Shown below:
Due to any confusion or contrary belief, Lil Uzi Vert is only "Signed" to Generation Now, LLC !

Respectfully, we have alotta of love for Taylor Gang and Wiz, but Lil Uzi Vert is signed to Generation Now. Here is your answer.

Surely, Drama, Cannon, Wiz, and Uzi will come together on an agreement to have Uzi contractually under both entities. Taylor Gang and DJ Drama already have ties to Atlantic Records as Drama is an A&R for the company while Wiz and his Taylor Gang are aligned with the label.
Uzi just dropped his ‘A Very Lil Uzi Vert Christmas’ tape over the holidays and will be undoubtedly releasing his debut album sometime 2017. As one of the most sought after features in 2016, Uzi has already collaborated with Migos, Future, Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, and of course Wiz Khalifa.
