Game Just Announced His Final Album, ‘Westside Story’
Diddy, Yasin, Lupe, who isn’t preparing their final album right now? Now added to that list is West Coast Multi-platinum recording artist Game. The Compton native is currently touring Russia and during his show in Moscow, revealed to fans that he will be going to jail once he returns to the U.S. and will be penning what he self-proclaimed to be his final album titled, ‘Westside Story’.
Game is touring in support of his October 2016 seventh album release ‘1992’. Game further elaborated on his announcement to concert-goers by stating the following:
“When I get back to L.A. I’m going straight to jail because I fuckin’ had a fight with a police officer and shit. So, I’m gonna sit down for a minute and I’m gonna write my next album, which is probably gonna be my last album. It’s called Westside Story. It’s gonna be some ill shit. But I don’t even really give a fuck about that, man. All I give a fuck about is my music, my kids, my fans, and my family.”
Last week Game dropped a new video featuring Jason Derulo for the ladies titled, “Baby You”.
Like his last project, ‘Westside Story’ will most likely be released independently through his deal with eOne distribution and his own imprint, Blood Money. Game’s last project moved 35,000 units plus streams in it’s first week. The news also comes on the heels of Game’s former mentor 50 Cent announcing that his long-awaited ‘Street King Immortal’ project would possibly be his last album as well.
