CeeLo Green Exploding Phone Video Was Just Footage For A Project Called ‘Gnarly Davidson’
As many suspected, the video floating around today of a (supposedly Samsung) phone exploding in CeeLo Green‘s face is not exactly as it seems.
In the video, you could see him in the studio, holding a phone up to his face, when you suddenly see a disturbing white flash, implying the phone blew up.
While not fake per se, he took to Facebook live just now to reveal he’s all good, and that it was just footage for a musical project he’s working on called “Gnarly Davidson.’ Check out the video below.
“I just want to let everybody know that I am alive, that I’m well, and I’m OK,” he said in the video. “Truthfully, I’m really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed by what they saw today. What you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I’m doing called Gnarly Davidson. It’s supposed to set up […] and introduce the new character identity. […] I want to thank everybody for their love and support and concern.”
You seriously can’t even tell what’s real or not anymore on the internet. Punk’d yet again.
