Foo Fighters Ending Hiatus to Honor Tom Petty Ahead of Grammy’s Weekend
Looks like the Foo Fighters hiatus may be over! At least for a night… Back in November the band announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus after which they released a video joking about the rumors that they were breaking up all together.
Now it’s been reported that they will be playing on February 10th to honor the 2017 MusiCares Person of the Year recipient Tom Petty, alongside the likes of Stevie Nicks, Kings of Leon, Don Henley, Norah Jones, Jeff Lynne and Randy Newman. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will naturally be headlining the event.
