Post Malone Announces Debut Release Date & New Song “Congratulations” Ft. Quavo
Throughout 2016, Austin, Texas-native Post Malone took the world by storm with the platinum-selling debut single, “White Iverson”. The success of the FKI-produced hit gained Post a deal with Republic Records (The Weeknd, Kid Cudi), guest features on tracks with 50 Cent, Zuse, and sold out solo headlining tour.
Over the year, Post’s buzz grew so colossus that his upcoming debut project, ‘Stoney’ became one of the most highly-anticipated of the year. Originally scheduled to hit shelves over the summer, after multiple delays, today, Post Malone announced a brand new song and official release date of debut full-length album.
Revealing artwork to his debut, Malone also revealed his his debut is available for pre-order tomorrow (November 4th) and will be available for streaming on December 4th. Upon announcing the official release date, Malone delivered an extra bit of news to his fans with the unveiling of his brand new song co-starring Migo’s Quavo entitled, “Congratulations”.
“Congratulations” is produced by Metro Boomin’ that delivers Post detailing the patience and hard work it took to make it to where he is now over the Quavo’s adlibs. Quavo has been recognized as the go-to hit making featured act in today’s Hip-Hop. In 2016, Quavo has been featured on multiple smash hits by Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Young Thug, T.I., Chris Brown, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Over the summer, while fans awaited the release of Post’s delayed debut, the Texas recording artist feed an appetizer of new music in the FKI-produced EP, August 26. A 10-track project filled with new content with features from Jeremih, Lil Yachty, and Jaden Smith. A well-developed prequel to the highly-anticipated Republic/Universal debut.
‘Stoney’ is set to feature a wide variety of guests, for instance, Metro Boomin’, Kehlani, Pharrell Williams, and many more. Along with “Congratulations”, the album includes big time singles, “White Iverson”, “Deja Vu”, and “Too Young”.
Post Malone’s Justin Bieber-featured “Deja Vu” continues to surf the charts and scheduled to be featured on Stoney.
