Taylor Swift is Now The Highest Paid Woman in Music
The annual Forbes list of the highest earning female musicians is out and it’s not much of a surprise that Taylor Swift topped the list. This is great timing for Tay as she just celebrated her debut self-titled album’s 10th anniversary on October 24th.
She brought in $170 million this past year, with much of it being credited to her 1989 Tour, which grossed over a quarter of a billion dollars. Adele came in at second place with $80.5 million, who made most of her money on album sales, most recently from ‘25,’ which was the best-selling album of 2015. Madonna came in at 3rd place with $76.5 million, with most of her earnings being attributed to her Rebel Heart Tour.
Rihanna came in 4th place with $75 million and Beyonce closed out the top five highest-paid artists with $54 million.
