Justin Timberlake & Pharrell Are Working On His New Album
As a solo act, throughout his 12 year span, Justin Timberlake has been considered one of the best singer of our generation. Accumulating a highly-decorated catalog of multiple-platinum hits, and a lot of that success can be credited to his long-time collaboration with award-winning producer Pharrell Williams.
Well if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as it has been announced that Justin is currently working on his next fourth studio album with the “Happy” hitmaker. Timberlake made the announcement via Instagram with a photo of the two long-time friends chatting in the studio, shown below.
The two worked together mainly on Justin’s 2004 debut, ‘Justified’. Justin and Pharrell’s previous hit collaborations include, “Senorita”, “Like I Love You”, and “Rock Yo Body”.
In a recent interview with Variety, Timberlake spoke on the reunion with Pharrell and new music, stating the following:
“I wouldn’t say [my new music] is the antithesis of 20/20, but it does sound more singular… If 20/20 sounded like it literally surrounds your entire head, this stuff feels more like it just punches you between the eyes.”
So far in 2016, Justin Timberlake has released several new tracks, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” and “True Colors”. Also was featured on Black Eyed Peas’ 2016 revamp, “Where’s the Love”.
