The Weeknd Announces Phase 1 of 2017 Starboy World Tour


The Weeknd is at the peak of his career right now with his new single, “Starboy” breaking records right now. Taking things to the next level, the Canadian singer/songwriter has just unveiled the first leg of his upcoming 2017 ‘Starboy: The Legend of the Fallen’ tour.

The tour is in support of the new single released back in September and within a month, “Starboy” captured both the “biggest opening weekend in streaming history” and the “most added record of all time at radio in one week in North America.”

The Weeknd took to twitter over the weekend to release the complete first phase of touring shown below.

The singer also announced on Twitter and Instagram that he will be opening “Starboy” Pop-Up shops on the weekend of Nov. 4-6 to celebrate the November release of his upcoming new album.

Several days after the release of the new single, The Weeknd also unveiled the music video for the Daft Punk-produced track and performed the single with Daft Punk live on Saturday Night Live.

The Weeknd’s fourth album of the same name is scheduled to be available for streaming and download on November 25th. The album also contains The Weeknd’s new follow up single, “False Alarm”.

The Weeknd is signed to XO/Republic Records.
