ASAP Mob Drops Two New Songs & Short Film ‘Money Man’
ASAP Mob’s upcoming compilation project, ‘Cozy Tape’ is complete and now its time for the roll out promotion. Today, we get a fresh new short film in support of the upcoming new project which previews two brand new songs from the Mob titled, “Money Man” and “Put That On My Set” featuring U.K.’s brightest star, Skepta.
‘Money Man’ is a 12-minute short film starring ASAP Rocky, ASAP Nast, and actor Saiid Taghmaoui (American Hustle). Shot in London, under the direction of ASAP Rocky himself alongside Dexter Navy. The intense visual revolves around a new synthetic drug created by Rocky and his team that turns consumers eyes black and cause them to turn up. This is the first release from Rocky’s newest creative company AWGE and the first release from the new company’s development deal with MTV.
ASAP Rocky spoke on the what fans can expect on the Cozy Tape and new role with MTV on MTV’s new show MTV Labs. During the interview, Rocky solidified the importance of this project and plans as the new creative director of MTV.

In related acting news, ASAP Rocky is set to co-star alongside fellow New Yorker Nas in upcoming crime drama, ‘Monster’. The film is about a 17-year-old honors student and aspiring filmmaker in Harlem, who is being charged with felony murder for a crime he says he didn’t commit. The Anthony Mandler-directed film is executive produced by Nas and John Legend. Rocky’s role in the film has yet to be revealed.
The Mob’s two most recognizable figures ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg have been very busy lately with their in involvement in so many new premiere records. Rocky has been featured on the recent releases from Alicia Keys’ “Blended Family,” French Montana’s “Said And Done,” and Ferg’s recently-released “New Level (Remix).”
Ferg, who just revealed he is in the studio with Dr. Dre and Alchemist working on his next project, was just featured on Jim Jones’ “Harlem,” Usher’s “No Limit (Remix)”.
