Hudson Mohawke’s “Chimes” Gets Taken To The Next Level By Alexander Lewis & Y2K

Trombone trap specialist Alexander Lewis listened to Hudson Mohawke’s brass work in “Chimes” and decided to partner with Y2K and chime in with some horns of his own. As the song progresses they get more and more creative with the epic original, layering Lewis’ original horns and blending in Y2K’s future bass into a drop that reminds me of the 2007 Lil Wayne-featured “Duffle Bag Boys” by Plazas Circle.
