G-Eazy Talks Collaborating On Britney Spears Comeback Single “Make Me (Oooh)”
Britney Spears is gearing up for a return to the scene and her first single will be “Make Me (Oooh).” But that’s not all, if you didn’t know, it’s going to feature one of top 40 hip hop’s freshest faces, G-Eazy aka the “Me, Myself & I” mastermind. Something tells me growing up Gerald never thought he would be asked to provide his services for a pop star of this magnitude (likely his and every other boy growing up in the 90’s early 2000’s early crush). He had a chance to talk about the collab in an interview with Kiss FM on July 7th.
“‘Yo. Britney Spears wants you on her single.’ And I’m like, ‘Stop playing.’ I got the email and I was like, ‘Holy sh*t!’ You know what I mean? I listened to it and I was like, ‘Sh*t!’ It’s a big record. So I knocked it out that night.” The “Me, Myself & I” rapper was then asked to describe the track and had this to say: “It sounds big. It will go off in the clubs. It will sound great on radio. I think the walls of genre have been broken down and everything is just a melting pot. You know, a lot of different influences. I guess it leans hip hop, but it’s just a big song.”
