Yesterday we reported about Rage Against The Machine’s announcement of a mysterious new website and project which featured a countdown to June 1st. The name paid homage to a Public Enemy song and Chuck D suddenly tweeted videos of RATM shows so some speculated that it could be a reunion tour with Public Enemy or possibly a new collaborative project. Last night Billboard announced that Prophets of Rage is a Supergroup comprised of three-quarters of Rage minus vocalist Zack de la Rocha, Chuck D of Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real.

The band’s debut is set for Hollywood Palladium on June 3, with a show at L.A.’s Whisky a Go Go planned as well. A 2016 summer tour is also being considered.
