Chance the Rapper Announces New Mixtape at Manhattan Show
Chance the Rapper has been putting in work since the release of ‘Acid Rap’ almost three years ago – collaborating with Kanye West, performing on Saturday Night Live, dropping freestyle mixtapes. The only thing we haven’t seen yet is an official followup mixtape, but the 22-year old rapper recently announced that it’s on its way. Chance fired up a surprise live performance of his verse on “Ultralight Beam,” the lead single on Kanye’s ‘The Life of Pablo,’ during a Soundcloud-hosted show in Midtown Manhattan. In an Esquire writeup of the show he’s quoted as saying his mixtape¬†would be out this month, so new Chance the Rapper music should be right around the corner. Check out the performance below.
