Chance the Rapper Announces New Mixtape at Manhattan Show
Chance the Rapper has been putting in work since the release of ‘Acid Rap’ almost three years ago – collaborating with Kanye West, performing on Saturday Night Live, dropping freestyle mixtapes. The only thing we haven’t seen yet is an official followup mixtape, but the 22-year old rapper recently announced that it’s on its way. Chance fired up a surprise live performance of his verse on “Ultralight Beam,” the lead single on Kanye’s ‘The Life of Pablo,’ during a Soundcloud-hosted show in Midtown Manhattan. In an Esquire writeup of the show he’s quoted as saying his mixtape would be out this month, so new Chance the Rapper music should be right around the corner. Check out the performance below.
