Not surprisingly so, Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989‘ took home Album Of The Year at this year’s GRAMMY’s. And in her acceptance speech, she took shots at none other than Kanye West, after his explicit “Famous” line from his hot off the press ‘TLOP‘ album. Maybe that’s why she “let” him use it in the track – so she could rip him on national television accepting an award she knew she’d win?
Aimed at the women in the audience, she dishes out to haters and other roadblocks:
“There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” she said. “But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and know that it was you.”
Just can’t wait for Yeezy’s response. It’s gonna be good.
