J. Cole Lands First 1,000,000 Selling Album With ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’
In this day and age, that elusive platinum status is getting harder and harder to achieve, so when an artist does indeed reach that level, there’s even more reason to celebrate. At the end of last year, J. Cole unveiled the featureless 2014 Forest Hills Drive album, which quickly sold almost 300,000 copies its first week, landing at the top of the charts.
Fast forward to the first week of September 2015, and he’s finally hit 1.004 million record sales for the project.
He’s also currently sitting atop the Adult R&B charts with his Janet Jackson collab “No Sleeep” as well. Three weeks running. Excited to see what he can achieve next.
