KOLAJ – Touch
There’s a reason KOLAJ‘s first release, “Touch,” is going to be a hit. The reason is simple… it’s really good. In a time when the music industry is seriously saturated, artists nowadays have to do more and more to stand out. It’s getting harder and harder to break through as an electronic (or pop) producer, and how many new singers actually make that jump into the majors every year? Not a lot. I think these “mini bands” or “groups” are going to become more and more often, forming a new wave pop sound. Sure, singers have their go to producers, but it seems as if once they truly work in sync, they can really take their sound to the next level. Hear for yourselves:

So, let us formally introduce KOLAJ, made up of singer Teesa and producer Mighty Mike. Teesa developed her sound along with heavyweights Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and was privy to Dr. Luke and Max Martin‘s production wisdom. She was even nurtured further in writing by Incubus guitarist, Michael Eizinger. Mike also has a solid and noteworthy musical background. He began his career working with Kool Kojack (Flo Rida‘s “Right Round,” Kesha‘s “Blow” and more). He’s had a hand in numerous top 40 hits for the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jepsen and has been a co producer for will.i.am and Josh Abraham (look him up), so that should tell you just how talented he is.
Look for these two to quickly make their way into the heart of the industry.
