Watch T-Pain’s 20-Min Doc: Bigger Than Pain
T-Pain is a multi-platinum, award-winning singer/songwriter with an extensive catalog of hits for himself and fellow superstars in music. The past several years haven’t been as familiar as he early days of unstoppable fame. For the past two years, Pain has been attempting to promote his upcoming album Stoicville: The Phoenix; however, failing to make that once-instant connection with the public that made him a mega-star. Often faced with the question of if his time was up or was he replaced by a new crop of singer/songwriters currently producing smash hits? The former Akon protege doesn’t see failure as an option and uses this moment to reinvent himself and rise like the phoenix from the ashes. In an effort to promote his long-delayed upcoming album, Pain partners with Worldstar Hip Hop to develop a 20-minute documentary titled; Bigger Than Pain.
Bigger Than Pain follows the career of T-Pain from the UK leg of his 2014 “I Am T-Pain” concert tour to his creative life off stage. It also reveals how the ambitious 30 year old with two Grammy Awards and over 50 top ten singles under his belt navigates the triumphs and pitfalls of his successful career.
Stoicville is on the way and currently set to feature Pain’s new hit singles, “Up Down” featuring B.O.B and “Drankin’ Patna”. Pain recently released a brand new mixtape; The Iron Way. Featuring guest appearances from Audio Push, OG Maco, and Migos.
