Floyd Mayweather Agrees To Fight Manny Pacquiao May 2nd In Las Vegas
We’ve been waiting years for this. The fight of the century. This is our era’s, Muhammed Ali vs. Joe Frazier in the boxing world. Ladies and Gentleman, it’s official. Floyd Mayweather Jr. has agreed to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd at the legendary MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas as TMZ reports.
UPDATE: Looks like it’s not 100%, but very, very near.
ESPN‘s Dan Rafael is reporting that we’re still not quite there:
Source involved in #MayweatherPacquiao deal: 'Nothing is happening before mid next week at the soonest. Not that close on (TV) deal terms.'

Sports Illustrated Chris Mannix also tweeted that a deal isn’t done but inching nearer:
Sources tell SI that a Mayweather-Pacquiao deal is not done yet, as TMZ reported. Inching closer and both sides optimistic. But not done.

Floyd is a five-time division world champion with an undefeated record of 47-0, with 26 KO‘s. On the flip side, Pacquiao has a record of 57 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws and 38 wins by KO.
These are two of the best fighters to ever exist, and on May 2nd, we’ll see these two warriors duke it out in the ring. Mayweather is putting his undefeated record on the line, as most people assumed he would try and get to 50-0 and then retire…but that wouldn’t be sufficient if he didn’t have a crack at Pacquiao.
You can bet this will be one of the biggest sporting events in history, maybe even bigger than the Super Bowl, as the entire world has waited anxiously for this fight to happen.
It’s happening and now all we can do is wait. Look for both to make it 100% official very soon. Who are you putting your money on in this fight?
