Spinnin’ Records Issues Tropical House Re-Release Of Dance Classic “Show Me Love” w/ Sam Feldt

I was one year old when Robin S‘ now classic dance track “Show Me Love” (above) was released back in 1990. It hit #5 on Billboard’s Top 100 and #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play.

The song was sampled by Jason Derulo a few years ago with his hit “Don’t Wanna Go Home” and most recently DJ Mustard snagged (or so we think) the beat for “Show Me” with Kid Ink and Chris Brown.

Now fast forward to 2015, and Spinnin’ Records has revealed what the “remix” of the Robin S classic really is. It appears to be a complete reissue of the track with new tropical/deep house production from Sam Feldt and new vocals for a more modern spin, and they pull it off because this is awesome:

Just would be nice if the story behind the release included homage to the original.

This of course isn’t the first time electronic music has taken on the song – Steve Angello released a slightly turned up version with Laidback Luke years ago too:

Long story short, the original song was so perfect that you can do just about anything with it, and it sounds good.
