Lil’ Wayne To Sue Cash Money Records?
We’re about a month removed from Lil’ Wayne‘s initial rant, bashing Baby and Cash Money records for holding Tha Carter V album hostage, even though in his eyes it’s finished. But Birdman feels otherwise, that there’s still more work to be done, and that he wasn’t letting Weezy out of his contract, even mentioning that he’d take this to court if he needed to.
Well, looks like Weezy took those words to heart, and a source close to TMZ is now saying he may just take legal action against his label to leave on his own terms.
This is interesting because Young Money‘s own president Mack Maine told everyone to relax earlier and said the album was coming first quarter of 2015 basically confirming there was still work to be done, implying that they were listening to Baby’s critiques?
We’ll keep you posted on this, and on the possible Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape.
