[Breaking News] The Def Jam Family Officially Welcomes Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso
Well it’s official. Two-thirds of the Swedish House Mafia, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso are now a part of the Def Jam Family. Here’s what Def Jam had to say about the breaking news: “We are proud at Def Jam to have Axwell /\ Ingrosso choose us to be their label home. Their music is forward, innovative, invigorating and boundless,” Steve Bartels (CEO of Def Jam Recordings) said. “Def Jam has the artistry and energy of DJ culture within its pedigree, right there in our logo. This is a significant moment for all of us as at Def Jam.”
Axwell and Ingrosso are set to go on tour in 2015 as well as release an album together soon. No timetable on the release date, but you can bet it will be stellar when dropped. Below, is a snippet from Zane Lowe’s BBC 1 Radio Show in which he showcases a piece of Axwell & Ingrosso’s worked titled, “This Time We Can’t Go Home.” It’s magnificent to say the least! We’ll keep you posted as we hear more on this development, but get ready, cause Ingrosso and Axwell are coming back at us with a fury of new stuff!
