Wu-Tang Will Release Just One Copy Of Its Secret Album, ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’
How much would you buy Wu-Tang Clan’s new album for? 20, 40 bucks? What if I told you only one would be made? Yeah then you are talking seven figures, according to Forbes Magazine. In an interview with Forbes, Robert “RZA” Diggs said, “We’re about to sell an album like nobody else sold it before.” The album will be encased in the above engraved silver-and-nickel box and will go to the highest bidder.
Before release, Wu plans to have exclusive listening parties and take the album to tours for people to listen to. Obviously for a release like this security would have to be at an extreme high so no one ripped the project. There is no release date yet, but be ready to empty your piggy banks out on this one.
