DJ Snake was the first act up on the stage and boy did he set the tone off immediately. Within minutes of his opening track, the crowd had tripled in size and couldn’t get enough of the rising star from France. Snake played a variety of trap, club, and threw in some electro bangers just to keep everyone more than satisfied.
Boys Noize took the stage next and absolutely blew me away. I had never seen or really been that into Boys Noize but that all changed in minutes. After playing some classic electro tracks that got me feeling all nostalgic, he dropped his new anthem ‘Starwin’ and the crowd went bonkers. Highlight of his set is when he dropped ‘Lithium’ by Nirvana, which just made my night that much better.
Now if you’ve never seen Major Lazer perform, you truly are missing out. Their live sets are so explosive; clashing genres, dropping throwback jams, and just making the live experience unforgettable. I strongly recommend going to see them the next time they are remotely close to you. Basically every track they dropped had the crowd going insane but my highlight of their set was when they had the thousands and thousands of people screaming the lyrics to ‘Get Free’.
GTA had the task of closing out what was an incredibly epic night and they definitely succeeded. Dropping some signature miami club bangers along with the fan friendly festival anthems, GTA had the crowd so energetic after hours of raving. Kudos to all the acts for keeping everyone dancing nonstop for about 7 hours!
