SNL Christmas Episode Hosted By Jimmy Fallon, Accompanied By Justin Timberlake
If you’re a music head, last night’s Saturday Night Live was for you. It was hosted by Jimmy Fallon and his musical guest was Justin Timberlake. Honestly though they should have just said it was hosted by both of these stars because JT was in most of the sketches. The duo (they can be called a duo right?) performed another “Wrappinville’ sketch and used tracks from Ludacris, Macklemore, and Gotye but changed the lyrics to how to wrap a present this Christmas.
Check out after the jump to read about more sketches like “Waking Up With Kimye,” “Now That’s What I Call Christmas,” and JT’s musical performances.
“Waking Up With Kimye” was another sketch that SNL brought back and whenever someone makes fun of Kanye West & Kim Kardshian, you know I got to watch it. Yet another “Bound 2” parody was in this sketch (Bound 3- Franco & Rogen, Bound 4- South Park) thus dubbing this one “Bound 5” where Kimye are riding Rudolph. Santa will definitely be putting them on the naughty list.
Right afterwards a commercial for ‘Now That’s What I Call Christmas’ came on where Fallon got to do a few impressions of artists such as Michael Bublè, Harry Styles, and Pitbull. Pretty sure Fallon did a better Pitbull impression than Pitbull himself, if that’s possible. Also Jay Pharaoh did a spot on impression of DMX singing “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.”
Other than the acting, Timberlake nailed his music performances too. The first song performed was “When I Walk Away” and he was accompanied by an awesome laser show where he rocked out in. The second track was “Pair Of Wings” and was beautifully done.
The show was a great way to cap 2013 off and to open up 2014 Saturday Night Live will be hosted by Drake on January 18th.
