[FITA Premiere] Mysto & Pizzi – Flight To Paris (Original Mix) [Out Now On Ultra Records]
You probably recognize the name already, but just in case, Mysto & Pizzi are two incredibly gifted producers out of New York who can be best identified by their versatility in production. Gaining recognition faster than ever, the duo have built up quite the résumé already. Just to recap a bit on their achievements, they produced R. Kelly’s “Get Dirty” (which went platinum), Kelly Rowland’s “Love,” and were even the masterminds behind the remake of Rockwell’s “Sombody’s Watching Me” for GEICO’s “Kash” campaign.
As expected, the production work on “Flight To Paris” is nothing short of spectacular. The duo incorporate elements of both progressive house and trance, masterfully blending the two to create this massive song. The builds keep you on your feet in anticipation of what is sure to be a huge drop and break, and boy do they deliver. After the breakdown, you’re introduced to a catchy new melody line which leads into the next build and the rest of the track. Overall, this is a solid song which I can see getting some major support from some big names out there.
Mysto & Pizzi are definitely a duo to keep an eye on, as each release seems to only gain more and more traction for them. I would also recommend taking a listen to their preview of the official remix that they collaborated with Moiez on, of the hit track “Wild Child,” by Adrian Lux & Marcus Schossow. You can check that one out HERE. This gem of a remix will also be out on Ultra Records, December 20th. Make sure to head on over to Beatport to grab a copy after listening to “Flight To Paris” below. In addition, stop by Webster Hall tomorrow night to catch Mysto & Pizzi along with Adrian Lux!
