The Forbes List Of The World’s Highest-Paid Musicians In 2013
The Forbes list of top paid musicians is out and the two queens of pop are at numbers one and two. Madonna crushed the competition and made a grand total of $125 million this year. Lady Gaga being the closest to the Material Girl came in second with $80 million. Concert sales are key in how artists get paid these days and Gaga wasn’t able to finish her tour or she would have had more.
There was a trio of hip hop moguls on the list including Diddy, Jay Z and Dr. Dre. Being only number 12 on the list, Diddy has room to improve and with the launching of Revolt TV look for him to climb next year. Beyonce was also on the list earning more than Jay-Z ($42 Mil) with $53 million. That is going to be an awkward Thankgiving dinner conversation.
There were two lone DJs representing the EDM world. Calvin Harris was 14 on the list with $46 million and Tiësto was last on the list with a measly…$32 million
Lastly, all the 13 year old Bieliebers, emptied their piggy banks and put Justin at the number seven spot with $58 million. So that’s the numbers, who are you going to give your money to in 2014?
