Kendrick Lamar Receives Platinum Plaque For ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. City’
Although it only took the likes of JT a little over a week to break 1,000,000 copies sold, one of hip-hop’s saviors Kendrick Lamar finally received his well deserved, and well overdue platinum plaque for his debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d. City, at a after party for the BET Experience music festival hosted by Interscope and TDE. The album has sold 938,389 copies so far in the US.
This truly is a remarkable feat, and a great sign for hip-hop’s future. Congrats sir, and can’t wait for more music – the features and all are great, but we want some vintage K Dot!
