One of my favorite artists out, D-WHY gives us a new video for 2,000 Miles, the third track off his latest project of brilliancy, Don’t Flatter Yourself. The West Virginian has already released a couple brilliant music videos from the all original album for Ballad Of An Asshole, and The New York Times. This video also joins the great company of the others, as it is spectacular as well. The hidden ending showcases another side of David Morris’ artistry: his passion for folk music, as noted in his recently released ode to the tragedy in Connecticut, “Song For Newtown“.
Here is what D-WHY had to say about it – “There was no plan, no script, no real treatment, no set destinations–just the desire to hit the road and enjoy a few days away from it all. I wrote the song as a reflection on all of my experiences being on the road and in new places over the past few years, and I think the video captures the essence of that. I’m a firm believer that it’s not necessarily about where you go or what you experience, but about who you experience it all with. And now, my fans can experience the song with me.”
