Eminem To Sing Queen’s Famous “Bicycle” Hook on Skylar Grey’s New Single

With her debut album Don’t Look Down hitting stores soon, Skylar Grey gives Rolling Stone an inside look at what’s to come from her Eminem & Alex Da Kid executively-produced album.

While Skylar and Em have been known to collab on multiple projects before, most known for their I Need A Doctor record featuring Dr. Dre, the duo has decided to mix things up for her upcoming single. C’Mon Let Me Ride is best described by Skylar as an “X-rated kids’ song” featuring the ever-famous refrain of Queen‘s Bicycle, the single is set to release on December 11th.

The main thing that excites me the most about this collaboration, judging by Skylar‘s description of the theme, is the hope that we may get to hear the ridiculous, less overly serious Eminem (that we’ve been hearing too often over the past few years) which would also give us a better look at the sound we can look to expect more in his upcoming 2013 album.

Don’t Look Down certainly has the potential to be very promising with collaborations with producers like J.R. Rotem of Beluga Heights, whose produced many hits from Sean Kingston, Jason DeRulo, & Iyaz amongst other collaborators for the album, so it’s only a matter of time until we find out if she she proves us right.
