So this is not what we typically throw at your eardrums, but don’t sleep on this. Who is ZZ Ward? I thought the name looked familiar… she threw a chill hook over a tune off Asher Roth’s Pabst & Jazz entitled “Insurance.” This soulful bluesy jazz with mini hip-hop feel may just be the freshest piece of audio my ears have taken in the past week or two.
