Timeflies – The Scotch Tape (Mixtape Stream & Download)

Today is the day you’ve all been waiting for. Ever since the first time we posted them as a feature with Trey Palms, I knew they were going places and was so confused as to why no one else had heard of Timeflies. Now, with 13,000 Facebook fans and 5700 Twitter followers under their belt, that’s certainly changed (with a little help from Timeflies Tuesdays). Whether here at FITA, other blogs, high schools and colleges across the country, they are finally, deservingly becoming a household name. Up until The Scotch Tape, “Lose My Mind” was still my favorite one from them, but they literally just blew my mind with this tape.

I knew it was going to be worth my $7.99 before I looked at the tracklist. In fact, this is only the 3rd album I’ve bought in the last like… 10 years and the others were Watch The Throne and Tha Carter IV. The production from Rez is on a different level, and you know Cal goes in every single time as you’ve learned to expect.
